MUSI 1331 Theory I

Basic theoretical concepts and skills relating to the music of the common practice period. The course covers basic concepts of notation, melody, rhythm, harmony, and analysis, with an emphasis on harmonic structure and progression. Should be taken concurrently with MUSI 1131.
