Teacher Certification in Science Secondary Level
Students desiring to certify to teach Biology in a public school at the secondary level will complete the Science secondary composite, requiring a B.S. degree in Biology.

GEOL 1401, GEOL 1402, and PHYS 2411 satisfy the laboratory sciences block in the core curriculum. PHYS 2412 satisfies the Scientific Inquiry/Natural Science block in the core curriculum.

This Science secondary certification requires a minor in Chemistry. In addition, students will need to fulfill general requirements for the B.S. degree and the certification requirements of the College of Education. This option is available for certification only.
